The Iranian dictator, who has been targeting Israeli hospitals and residential buildings from a fortified underground bunker, must pay for the crimes he committed, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said. “The attack on the hospital in Be’er Sheva on June 19 was the worst crime, and the Ayatollah must be held accountable,” the Israeli Defense Minister said.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz also said that he and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have ordered the Israeli military to carry out heavy strikes against Iranian strategic targets and government targets in Tehran to eliminate threats to Israel. An Iranian missile hit the “Soroqa” hospital in the southern Israeli city of Be’er Sheva on June 19, causing extensive damage to a hospital building, Israeli media reported.
Israeli authorities are still assessing the extent of the injuries and have evacuated patients from the hospital, the statement said. Iranian state media reported that the missile was not aimed at the hospital but rather at an Israeli military intelligence facility in a park near the hospital. Since the early hours of June 19, Iran has been firing missiles at central and southern Israel, mostly hitting residential buildings and parking lots, according to international news reports based in Israel.
