The military is issuing propaganda that it has gained control of Bhamo, but in reality, the military is only fighting from the 21st KLA base.
A source on the frontline of the revolution said that the entire city of Bhamo could be controlled by the revolutionary forces. The battle to capture Bhamo has been waged by the KIA-affiliated forces since December 2024 and has now lasted for more than 11 months.
