The Centennial celebration of the Thuklai Baptist Church in Tedim Township, Northern Chin State was held on November 15, 2025, and the centennial monument was erected on November 16, 2025. The first church in Chin State was built in Khuasak village on February 17, 1906. At that time, people from all over the Siyin region came to the church in Khuasak village every Sunday.
In 1924, the Chin State Baptist Convention was held in Mualpi, Tonzang Township, and according to the decision of the convention, Khuasak village was also allowed to build a church and separate from the Khuasak Baptist Church.
On November 15, 1925, a Baptist church was established in Khuasak village. One church was established per village, Before there was a church, the village attended church every Sunday together with neighboring villages such as Buanman, Lophei, and Pumva.
