The 3rd Battalion of Monywa District participated in the Chin Brotherhood Operation to capture Mindat Town in Chin State, and the local people welcomed the soldiers who returned with victory. The Falam-Mintat Town capture Operation began on November 9 last year, and Mindat town was finally captured on December 21.
The Chin Brotherhood joint forces also participated in the Mindat Town capture battle, along with the 3rd Battalion, 2nd Battalion, During the Chin Brotherhood operation, the allied forces captured Mindat – Falam and Kanpelet. After the battle for Mindat, the Chin Brotherhood group also captured military weapons such as 10 G3 rifles, 30 G3 boxes, and 2,000 G3 cartridges from the Mahauurar Dragon PDF, which participated in the operation.
Chin Brotherhood group spokesman Salai Yaw Mang also said that the Chin Brotherhood group was able to capture nearly a hundred members of the Military Council who fled their camp after the battle for Mindat. Nearly 170 members of the Military Council surrendered during the battle for Mindat-Falam.
