On the 27th and 28th of August, the Chin Defense Forces and the Military Council clashed in Thantlang town, Chin State, and about 10 Chin Defense Forces were reportedly killed. On the morning of August 27th, when the fighting started, a jet plane attacked. Today, August 28th, at 5 o’clock in the morning, the fighting broke out again from Hakha town, and they helped by firing heavy weapons.
At around 7:00 am and 5:00 pm, another jet plane flew and bombed the town of Thantlang, killing about 10 Chin Defense Forces. The Military council also suffered many casualties, but the exact number is not known yet. At around 12:00 in the afternoon, the military council from Hakha town sent reinforcements to Thantlang in 3 cars.
