On October 26, the Revolutionary Joint Forces attacked and captured the Maung Makan police station of the Myanmar Military Council in Laung Lone Township, Tanintharyi Region, killing 12 members of the SDF and seizing 21 weapons.
The attack on the Maung Makan police station of the SDF began at 5:30 am and was successfully captured at around 9:30 am, killing 12 members of the SDF and injuring 10 others. The remaining forces fled the camp. It was reported that 6 Uzi-type guns, 7 G3s, 2 Shot Gun/Smoke guns, 2 Commando Diamond-shaped guns, 4 revolvers, a total of 21 weapons, 2 jammers and ammunition were seized from the camp.
The People’s Defense Forces No. 1 Operation Area, Special Operations Command, 33rd Tactical Division, 4th Battalion, Dawna Battalion, KBDF, The Dawna Battalion, Company 7 LPF, along with allied forces such as the Dawei District Army, DNLA Duraka Regiment, Rama Nyah Mon Army, and Federal Duwan Kye troops, jointly attacked, and one revolutionary comrade was martyred, according to a report released by the Special Forces Division.
