18 killed in military attack on Military Council troops advancing in Ohdwin Township, Bago Region, according to an official from the A. D.G Brothers Unit. Starting in the evening of May 29, about 100 Military Council troops advancing in Ohdwin Township and the revolutionary forces began to clash.

Although there were casualties on the military side, the military did not stop, and the military continued to advance at around 9 a.m. on May 30, so the clashes with the revolutionary forces continued. The clash lasted for about 1 hour, killing 7 witnesses on the Military council side and forcing the revolutionary forces to retreat due to artillery shells fired by the Military council troops.

After the fighting, the Military council soldiers continued to advance. At around 4 pm on that day, the revolutionary forces opened fire with snipers, killing 3 more Military council soldiers. In addition, 3 revolutionary comrades were slightly injured when the Military council army fired artillery.

During the 2-day battle, 18 Military council soldiers were killed and more than 20 were injured. The Military council column has not yet left, and clashes with the people’s defense forces may continue at any time.
