4 Military Council members from Tedim Township, Chin State, and 1 soldier who can bring weapons and ammunition will be awarded 100 million kyats, said CDF CDM SIYIN Commander-in-Chief Thawngpu. On December 17, soldier Sit Paing Phyo of Battalion 268 serving in Tedim Township, soldiers Aung Pyih Phyo, Dal Do Lian, and soldier Yaza Htet of Battalion 269 serving in the town contacted CDF CDM-Siyin and brought a weapon and some ammunition to enter the town.
“One went to the town on the 17th of December, and the other three have been with us for about 3 months. The other one came in the Tedim town after the three contacted them. The last one came with weapons. Now we have them in our camp. Yaza Htet, Aung Pyae Phyo, Dal Do Lian, they didn’t bring weapons because of they didn’t get the chance. Now, finally, they asked us to contact Yaza Htet and go to the Tedim town and take him. If we bring weapons, we will reward them with 100 million kyats.”
