A representative of the Kalaymyo Urban Disappearance Project (UG) said that 6 new recruits from the terrorist Military Council army that entered Chin State, brought 2 weapons, came into the light and were rewarded with 150 million kyats. The 6 new recruits who fled from the 500-strong terrorist army that began its offensive in Chin State on May 18 contacted the Kalaymyo Urban Disappearance Project UG on May 21 and surrendered.
The 6 new recruits who surrendered are from the 391st Battalion, 77th Infantry Division, and are recruits from the 7th and 8th weeks of military service. They gave the Kalaymyo Urban Disappearance Project (UG) 2 MA-3 rifles, 5 hand grenades, 476 rounds of ammunition, They brought 14 boxes of ammunition and other military equipment. It is known that the six of them were awarded a reward of 150 million kyats and sent to the liberated area because they brought weapons.
“They brought weapons and when it became clear, we awarded them 150 million kyats. Since the military council is forcibly recruiting soldiers and forcing them to fight to the death, we want many Military Council soldiers to join the nearby revolutionary groups by CDM. If they can bring weapons and ammunition, it would be better,” said an official from the UG group of the Kale Township Urban Disappearance Project.
