The bodies of 25-year-old Ma Aye Nyein from Thantaw Peninsula, who were killed by a group of armed men in Monywa town, and her unborn baby boy, were brought to the city’s cemetery this evening (August 12). The funeral was accompanied by many people in Monywa. The pregnant woman was killed when a group of people entered the robbery and shot at around 3:00 pm on August 10.
The group also announced that the robbers were arrested by a group under the Monywa Township Public Security Group. The Monywa GUARDIAN FORCE announced that they have arrested six men from the Monywa Force, a pseudo-revolutionary group that killed a pregnant woman and robbed her of a phone and a motorcycle.
This group called Dalan Clearing and arrested and killed innocent people out of personal hatred. An official of the Monywa Public Security Group said that it was found that the violence was carried out to discredit the name of the revolution and that it was an organization related to the Military Council.
