It is reported that the fighting in Arakan region, which started on November 13, 2023, has been going on for more than seven and a half months, and even in the rainy season, the fighting has continued to increase day after day without stopping. The Military Council side is using all the Army, Navy and Air Force units to defend themselves fiercely, and the AA side is also informing that they are attacking every base of the Military Council that has not yet surrendered.

It is reported that more than 350 bodies of military council members, weapons and ammunition, and many military equipment’s were captured from the camp. He also mentioned the battle in Thandwe Township, which started on April 13th, and the fighting intensified in June and July, and on the morning of July 5th, Ngapali (Mazin) Airport was reported to be under control.

In the Thandwe region, the military council’s Thandwe-based battalions are Khah Mah Yah (566) and Khah Lah Yah (55) battalions, as well as the battalions under the (101) division are Kahlah Yah (235), Khah Lah Yah (251), Khah Lah Yah (252), Khah Lah Yah (253), Khah Lah Yah (254), Khah Lah Yah (255), Khah lah yah (256), Khah Lah Yah (257), Khah Lah Yah (258), Khah Lah Yah (259) and Khah Mah Yah (315) (Mithila-Tah mah khah-99) – Lah pah khah, Khah Mah Yah (366) (Hawlaik – Sah kah khah-10-Kalay) – Nah mah khah. It is said that some battalions based in Irrawaddy, some local militia regiments attached to the military council, and Myanmar Navy SEALs participated in the resistance.


In addition, the fleet of 5 naval warships stationed in the Bay of Bengal, from areas such as Kuin wain, Tha Pyih chai, and Jeit taw, received a large number of artillery fire, air strikes, and drone attacks, and the Army and Air Force jointly and vigorously defended the area.

AA informs that the battle of Thandwe is the most difficult city capture battle in the Rakhine region. However, the military council was upset and more than 400 bodies of military council troops and weapons and ammunition had to be confiscated, AA announced. It was reported that the Khah Mah Yah (566) battalion based in Thandwe was captured on June 27, and some other enemy-held camps in the vicinity of Thandwe were also captured.

After the surrender of Khah Mah Yah (566), the enemy inside the airport AA announced that the defenses were held in a famous hotel near the airport and a three-story building in Zephyukone, but they were able to defeat all the enemies.

AA also issued a statement to record and honor all the people of Arakan who gave their lives and bodies during the fighting in Arakan region, who bravely carried out the orders and duties given to them and the Arakan soldiers from various military regions who cooperated and helped the medical staff.

On the other hand, important enemy camps such as An, Nah Pah Pah headquarters, Sah Kah Khah (5) Taung Koh headquarters, Sittwe (Dah kah sah) headquarters and Da Nyahwati naval headquarters have been cut off and blocked, and some of the camps are already being attacked and some of the enemy camps have already been half captured.
