The Chin Defense Forces (CDF-Asho) announced today that they captured 23 Military council members alive during an operation around 1,500 meters from the Natt Lake Air Defense Base (Strategic hill) on the Ann-Padan Road in Ngaphe Township, Magway Division. During a five-day operation from the 8th to the 12th of this month, they captured 23 Military Council members who had escaped from Natt Lake Air Defense Base on the old Natt Lake Road.
The CDF-Asho also said that the captured prisoners of war were those who were forced to serve in the military by the Military council under the military service law. In addition, the CDF-Asho urged members of the Military council to join the revolutionary forces and come to light as soon as possible.
On the 4th of this month, CDF-Asho captured three militiamen who fled from the Natt Lake Air Defense Base and seized three MA rifles and some ammunition with them. The Arakan Army (AA) and the local defense forces are jointly attacking the Natt Lake Air Defense Base and the Kakin camps, and the Military council is retaliating with a large force after capturing the Tower camp hill.
