Top leaders of the Chin Brotherhood, including General Htun Myat Naing, leader of the Chin Brotherhood (CB) military ally, the Army of the Arakan Army (ULA/AA), discussed how to jointly defend against the Military council’s counter offensives and how to help each other during the Chin Brotherhood visit to Rakhine State last month, said Salai Yawmang, a spokesman for the Chin Brotherhood, a group of six Chin armed groups.

Speaking at the PDF – Zoland emergency fundraised held on November 8, Salai Yawman, a spokesman for the Chin Brotherhood, said the meeting between top leaders, including the leader of the Army of the Arakan Army (ULA/AA), and the Chin Brotherhood was held.

“We met last month, we met, we discussed, mainly about the revolution, how we will be in the military , how we will cooperate, how we will help each other. The main thing is to anticipate the possibility of a counter-offensive by the Military council, and we are prepared for that, so we cooperate,” said Chin Brotherhood spokesman Salai Yawmang.

Chin Brotherhood leaders visited Rakhine State last month and met with General Htun Myat Naing and ULA top leader and discussed mutual assistance and support for cooperation in addition to military alliances, and in the future, political alliances and economic alliances, said Chin Brotherhood spokesman Salai Yawmang.

The Chin Brotherhood group, which is composed of (6) Chin revolutionary armed groups, is composed of CDF – Mindat, Chin National Organization (CNO/CNDF), Zomi Federal Union – ZFU / PDF – Zoland, MRO / CDF – Matupi, CDF – Kanpetlet is a joint venture between the Mara Territory Council (MTC/MDF).
