Chin news source said that the Military Council camp in Falam town, Chin State was being attacked by Chin Brotherhood and allied forces today November 21, 2024.
The battle between Falam town and Mindat town began on November 9th, and Chin Brotherhood and allies have been fighting.

“Now today, there is a fierce battle in Falam town. SAC aircraft are using more than 50 bombs to bombard them. From those Chin brotherhood and allied, they can now attack Falam Military Council’s hill and then take it to Kakin. From the hill, they are still attacking. That’s why the Military Council’s troops are also firing with planes and Y12,” said a Chin news source.

Chin Brotherhood only informed that the Military Council camps based in Falam and Mindat were attacking simultaneously, and did not release any further news of the battle.
“We don’t know the exact neighborhood in Falam. If you look at it from a distance, about 2 places are still burning,” said a Chin news source about the battle situation in Falam town.

In addition, the battle to take over Chin State’s army has been fierce since the beginning of the battle until the last few days, and the Military Council is fighting fiercely from the air. Mindat Chin Defense Forces (CDF-Mindat) spokesman Salai Ha Om has confirmed the ongoing fighting in the town for the past few days, but said he would only issue a notification if the Military council situation required it.

A local resident of Mindat also posted on social media yesterday (November 20th) that the Military Council is continuing to carry out aerial bombardment and burning people’s homes. Chin Brotherhood, who was formed by the Chin Defense Forces (CDF), cooperated with the Alrakan Army (AA) and achieved success in the battle of Matupi and the capture of Jindwe town in Kanpalet Township.

It has not yet been officially announced whether or not Arakan Army (AA) is involved in the operation between the Army and Falam town. However, because of Chin Brotherhood’s request for help, some allied organizations have been informed that they are participating in the operation with close cooperation.
