The Chin Peace and Reconciliation Initiative (CPRI) led by Chinland Council, CNF/A, ICNCC, and Chin Brotherhood, is reported to have hosted a peace dinner with the Mizoram Chief Minister on the evening of December 10. The Chin Peace and Reconciliation Initiative (CPRI) is an organization formed by the Chin Church in the United States (CBANA) and CBCUSA.
At the dinner, the Mizoram Chief Minister addressed the Chin/Zo Community, urging them to unite as the population is small. The Chin Peace and Reconciliation Initiative (CPR) Vice President and CBCUSA General Secretary Rev. Dr. Ceu Lian Thang attended. But the President and CBANA General Secretary Rev. Dr. Biak Lian Thang was unable to attend.
Civil society organizations from Mizoram, including CYMA (Central Yong Mizo Association), MZP (Mizo Zirlai Pawl), MSU (Mizo Students’ Union), and ZORO (Zo Reunification Organization), attended the event with 58 people.
