Chin Revolutionary Forces attacked Hakha Police Station in Chin State, killing 6 junta soldiers and rescuing 15 prisoners, including CNA and CDF-Hakha comrades, said Chin National Front (CNA) spokesman Salai Htet Ni. Between 3 and 4 am on October 16, a lightning operation was carried out to rescue prisoners from the Hakha Police Station, and 15 prisoners, including 2 CNA comrades and 3 CDF comrades, were rescued. In addition, 6 junta soldiers were killed, about 15 were injured, and weapons and ammunition were seized. One revolutionary soldier was killed during the operation.
“The CDF Hakha led a rapid operation to rescue the prisoners. 15 people, including 2 CNA comrades and 3 CDF comrades, were rescued. 6 members of the military council were killed, 15 were injured, and weapons were recovered. One CDF revolutionary comrade was killed. The prisoners have also been taken to a safe place,” said Chin National Front (CNA) spokesman Salai Htet Ni.
The Military Council army tightened security in the Hakha town and opened fire on the outskirts of Hakha with heavy weapons. The military council troops are targeting the public with air and heavy weapons and are attacking them intentionally. The public is urged to be war-conscious and alert.
