On October 9, at around 8pm, without any fighting, the Myanmar military council airstrike on Pyinma Pin Seik (West) Village, Bilin Township, Mon State, killed five children, aged between 6 and 12, according to local residents.
The Military council said that 6-year-old Saw Htun Htun Min, 7-year-old Saw Lin Htet Thar, 9-year-old Naw Mag La Paw, 10-year-old Naw Ma San Myint, and 12-year-old Naw Ma Than Than were killed on the spot in the airstrike. In addition, houses were also damaged in the airstrike, and at least 7 people were injured.
“It is learned that the victims of the terrorist army’s airstrikes were children. Five children aged 6 to 12 were killed. There were also injured people. Houses were also damaged,” said a local resident. Similarly, on October 10, at around 9:30 a.m., the terrorist army bombed Taku village, Tanintharyi Township, injuring several passersby, including a child.
