KNLA joint forces launch heavy offensive to capture Military Council’s Tae Baw Boe camp, Myawaddy Township, Karen State, on the Thai-Myanmar border, and fighting still fierce, a military source said. They are constantly dropping bombs. The revolutionary forces are trying to completely capture the Tae Baw Boe camp. The fighting is fierce,” the military source said.
The KNU is reportedly bombing the Tae Baw Boe camp from aircraft and other military bases are resisting with heavy weapons. If the Tae Baw Boe camp of the KNU is captured by the revolutionary forces, there will be only four KNU bases left on the Thai-Myanmar border, which are Ukrit Hta, Wale Strategic Hill, Tee Thae Le Camp, and Hte Ka Pale Camp.
Thai media reports that 507 people from Karen State have fled to Thailand due to the ongoing fighting on the Thai-Myanmar border, and three places have accepted refugees. The KNU has bombed the KNU’s Pu Lutu, Khale Dae, Takho Bei Kwee, Maw Phatu Camp, Tale Camp, Maela Camp, Bletdo, Maw Khe, Bayint Naung Camp, It is known that they were able to capture Kanay Lay Camp and Shwe Aye Myaing Camp in a series of attacks.
