In order to achieve eternal peace and development together with the people, ethnic armed organizations, terrorist groups, and the People’s Defense Forces (PDF) groups should abandon the path of armed attacks and follow the path of party politics.
He said that he offered to communicate in order to solve the political problem, such as the election route, through political means. He said that the census to hold the general election will begin on October 1st, and the military council is working diligently to prepare for the election.
The attitude of the National Unity Government (NUG) officials and the ethnic armed groups regarding the military council’s invitation to a political solution is not yet known. The leader of the military coup, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, said that on October 15 last year, when the NCA was eight years old, he invited the rest of the ethnic organizations to sign the NCA.
The military leader said that it is the first time that the Military Council has invited the People’s Defense Forces (PDF) under the NUG and the non-NUG PDF forces, which are in armed conflict against the military council, to hold peace talks. On September 2, the Military Council declared the three northern alliances, the Ta-ang National Liberation Army (TNLA), the Kokaing Army (MNDAA) and the Arakan Army (AA) as terrorist groups.
