On the morning of June 6, Ukraine launched 407 drones of various types against 13 Russian regions, including Moscow, and shot down 200 of them, the Russian Defense Ministry said. More than 200 drones were shot down and three cruise missiles were intercepted over the Black Sea, the statement said. The governor of Tambov region said that debris from the crashed drones caused a fire at an industrial plant and injured three people.
Tula Region Governor Dmitry Mirev said an industrial plant had been destroyed by the downed drones, while Saratov Region Governor Roman Busagin told Russian media that a fire had broken out at a fuel depot near the Engels-2 airfield, which is home to strategic bombers, and efforts were being made to put out the fire. The statement said 45 Kh-101 and Iskander missiles were fired, downing 38. The strikes hit high-rise residential buildings in the city, killing at least three people and injuring more than 40.
