PDA-Tedim outpost belonging to the Chinland Council member PDA-Tedim at the village of Phaiza and New Thalmual village in Tedim Township, Chin State, was reportedly raided and captured by the Zomi Revolutionary Army (Eastern Command). At around 5:30 pm on February 12, the ZRA-EC attacked a small PDA-Tedim outpost with a large force.

“Our outposts were not aware at the time. There was no damage to either side in this battle. Their side is not known. We have no casualties. We do not know why they came to attack. There was a problem and there was a shortage of manpower,” said the chairman of PDA-Tedim.

When the PDA-Tedim attacked the camp, it was reported that there were only about 3 people, while the ZRA-EC attacked with 50 to 80 people. The PDA-Tedim chairman said that the military will take action as needed and that he did not want to comment on military matters at this time. He said that some weapons and equipment were lost, but that it was not possible to say for sure because the investigation is still ongoing.

According to the video footage released by the ZRA-EC troops, some weapons and military equipment were seized from the camp, as well as equipment belonging to the CNA and PDA-Tedim troops. It is not yet known whether the ZRA-EC forces are still in control of the camp, which was surrendered by the PDA-Tedim.

During the Spring Revolution, the Zomi Revolutionary Army (Eastern Command) frequently attacked Chin Defense Forces (CDF) camps, including those of the CNA, based in Tedim and Tonzang, causing casualties on both sides. The Zomi Revolutionary Army (Eastern Command) is a Zomi armed group led by Pu Zo Thang and is said to be active in Tedim district, which is predominantly inhabited by the Zomi ethnic group.
