A Revolutionary Army outpost was raided in Shwebo Township, Sagaing Region, and 7 comrades were killed. On the morning of November 6, the Military Council troops raided a local outpost in Shwebo Township. They then captured 7 comrades alive, tortured them, and killed them, according to an official from the Monywa Township True News Information Team.
“It seems that they were only outposts because they continued to advance from the military line and then returned,” the official said. Due to the security situation, the location of the raided outpost and which faction the fallen comrades belonged to are unknown.
The Shwebo PKKF has been contacted for inquiries about the incident, but has not yet responded. Locals said that clashes have been taking place between the Military Council troops and the defense forces on the Shwebo-Mandalay road in Shwebo Township in recent days.
