Residents said that the Military Council has regained control of the Kennedy Mountain Camp in Tedim Township, Chin State, this morning of June 18, 2024. After PDF-Zoland captured Mount Kennedy in northern Chin State in November of last year, the Military Council regained control on the morning of June 18, 2024. “This morning, there was a shootout with the Military Council, the Military council won and took control again,” said a source in the Chin Revolution.
On June 15, 2024 the Military council launched an offensive with 100 forces to recover Mount Kennedy. The last year November 21, 2023, PDF-Zoland attacked the Military Council camp at Mount Kennedy, capturing 13 Military Council soldiers and killing 3 of them.
