Under the leadership of the Zo Re-Unification Organization (ZORO), ICNCC/CB and Chinland Council / CNF met in Aizawl, Mizoram today and agreed on 5 points. In this meeting, Interim National Consultative Council – ICNCC, Chin Brotherhood, ZORO reported that representatives of the Chin State Council and the Chin National Front attended and discussed intensively and agreed on 5 points. The initial agreement was that the Chin-Mizo-Kuki tribes are half-brothers and sisters, sharing the same language and culture.

We agreed that this kind of thing will not happen in the future after we were saddened by the differences of opinion among ourselves in carrying out revolutionary activities for our country and people. In the future, if there is a long-term conflict between them, they agreed not to use weapons to resolve it, and for the success of the peace process, officials from both organizations agreed to hold more meetings as necessary.

In addition, both sides agreed to form a peace committee, and agreed on the points that the peace committee will be formed at the next meeting. Today’s meeting was attended by the ICNCC delegation led by Salai Lian Luai, the delegation led by Paw Sila from the Chin Brotherhood side, the delegation led by Prime Minister U Pa Thang from the Chinland Council, and the delegation led by U Thang Ning Kee from the Chin National Front.
