The military council bombed Chunchung village, located 7 miles from Hakha in Chin State, which has not been involved in any fighting, twice with jet fighters at around 2 am today (December 10), killing (4) members of a family, including a minor child, and injuring 9 others, according to local residents.

A local resident said, “We know that when the first jet fighter bombed, all 4 members of the village lost their lives. When the second bomb was fired, we know that 8 people were injured, making a total of 9 injured.” The military council bombed Chunchung village at around 2:18 am today, causing extensive damage to civilian homes and around 10 civilians were injured, according to local residents.

The Military council also burned down many civilian homes in Chunchung village on July 14, 2022. Chunchung village is located in Hakha Township, a village on the highway between Hakha, the capital of Chin State, and Falam.
