It is known from the Revolutionary Forces that the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) and Taw Kyi Kan – PDF forces attacked the military council of about 100 people near Dongtaung, Angapo Village, Kyath Tho town, Mon State yesterday, August 27th at around 12:00 noon.
As a result of the attack, at least 10 members of the Military Council were killed and seven were injured, according to the official of the Taw Kyi Kan – PDF.
“When I got the news that the military council was coming, the car of the military council was damaged and hurt. He added that the military council troops took the dead and wounded back in a royal highway car and fired at a fuel tanker on the road. On August 11th, the military council army entered Mayangone Village in Beilin town, Mon State in a column and was stationed in a camp. KNLA and Taw Kyi Kan PDF joint columns attacked, causing casualties and they retreated and fled.
