Chin National Front CNF/A; CDF Thantlang, Chin Joint Forces such as CDF Hakha and CDF Zophei launched an operation named Tilim Operation 3 on August 27th and 28th, and attacked 5 Military council camps based in and around Thantlang hill, as well as 2 other small camps in the town and Auto Tower Mountain between Hakha-Thantlang. The statement of CDF-Thantlang stated that the Military council provided heavy artillery support in Hakha town, including air force.
According to CDF-Thantlang, in the Tilim Operation 3, 37 soldiers of the Military council, including Major Kyaw Soe Min, were killed and more than 50 were wounded, and 5 weapons and bullets were seized. According to local sources, a total of 15 soldiers were killed and at least 10 were injured in the Chin Defense Joint Forces, 5 soldiers from CNA, 4 soldiers from CDF-Thangtlang, 1 soldier from CDF-Hakha and 5 soldiers from CDF-Zophei. It is reported that the Military council forces who died in the battle and the wounded were taken to Hakha town by vehicles.
