According to the Burmese People’s Liberation Army, a camp of Khmer 351 in Shwe Jing Township, Bago Province was captured by revolutionary allied forces, and after obtaining weapons and ammunition, the camp was burned down.
On the morning of November 17th, an alliance consisting of the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) and the Burma People’s Liberation Army (BPLA) attacked the Southern Regional Military Command near the village of Kya chaung, Shwe Jin township, Bago Region. It is reported that the Khah Mah Yah (351) battalion attacked and captured a camp at the Taungchiyin. After a 20-minute exchange of fire, all the military council members who were injured fled the camp.
The military council forces did not know the exact situation of the casualties, but the entire camp was captured by the allied coalition. The weapons seized during the battle were 60 mm, 1 60 mm hand grenade, 52 rounds, 1 Jumper, 1 large talking machine, 13 grenades, 20 RPGs, 22 RPG rounds, 16 anti-tank guns, 3 40mm land mines, 9 land mines, and 1,128 rounds of 5.56 ammunition.
