The People’s Defense Force (Mandalay) announced that 1014 air defense camps in Mataya Township, including Inkyin Myaing Camp, Sedaw Camp, Pantale Taung Camp, and Yeso Taung Mountain Camp, have been completely captured. It is stated along with the photos that various weapons (125) and related ammunition were recovered from the camp battles.

During the occupation of 8 Military camps, (64) prisoners of war and those who surrendered were captured and are being held in accordance with the Prisoner of War Act. In addition, it was announced on July 2 that a total of (117) women, the elderly, and children who are members of the army’s family are being well-kept.

The camps occupied by Mandalay PDF are the (1014) Air Defense Force Camp in Mataya Township, Inkyin Myaing Camp, Sedaw Camp, Pantale Taung Camp, and Yeso Taung Camp, Seng Tao Camp, Pa Darna Mountain Camp, Ne Kyaw Taung Camp, Shwe Pathu Camp, Kyauk Khaloh Taung Camp and the Soe moe Hill of Alpha Cement Factory.

It has been reported since June 26 that the Mandalay PDF has captured the Air Defense Forces of the Military Council, but it has now been officially confirmed. “There will be some camps left. We are still on the offensive. From the day the 1027 operation part (2) started until yesterday. We also had some payments,” Mandalay PDF spokesperson Ko Osmon said.

The Mandalay PDF coincides with “1027 Operation Part (2)” and attacks military council camps on the Naungcho, Mogok, Kyaukme and Mataya fronts. In the operations in Mataya Township, the Mandalay PDF and the local defense force, the Mataya Myoman Force, are said to be participating in the attack.

The People’s Defense Force (Mandalay) also announced that they are continuing offensive attacks against designated military targets. “There will be some camps left. We are still on the offensive.
