It was confirmed by PDF – Zoland news sources that PDF – Zoland attacked the military council stationed at the top of Mount Kennedy (Thuamvum) between Tedim and Kalaymyo, Tedim township in northern Chin State at around 4:00 a.m. on November 21st. During that battle, 5 soldiers of the military council were killed and more than 10 fled and were arrested because PDF – Zoland said. And during the battle PDF-Zoland announced that Comrade Tg. Kam Lian Pau gave his life to fight for the country.
PDF-Zoland raided the military council camp with a force of about 30 soldiers today on November 21 at 4:00 a.m. After a battle of around 2 hours, the military council camp was attacked and captured at 6:00 a.m., said a PDF-Zoland official. It is also known that a large number of heavy weapons and ammunition were seized from the military council camp.
“The Mount Kennedy camp has reached the people’s hands,” said a PDF – Zoland official. Mount Kennedy is the highest mountain in northern Chin State, where the military council camped after the coup.
