It is known that 87 members of the Kuki-Zomi Warrior Club who died in the ethnic conflict were buried in a ceremony in honor of the 20th of December 2023 in Lamka town, Manipur state, India.
It is known that these Kuki-Zomi heroes were cremated with 46 corpses kept in Lamka town Hospital and 41 corpses transported by helicopter from JNMS and RIMS Morgue in Imphal on December 14th, a total of 87 corpses. This kind of burial ceremony for the dead heroes of the Kuki-Zomi people is the largest in the history of Kuki-Zomi.
As many as 117 Kuki-Zomi people have been killed in Manipur due to the Meitei (Katee) and Kuki-Zomi conflict that started on May 3, 2023 and 106 fallen heroes were buried with honor and record, the remaining 11 bodies are still missing today.
