It is reported that the Military Council troops are burning the village of Thayargone in the northwest of Kalay township again today. Today, May 17th, starting around 12:00 in the afternoon, the Military Council started burning houses and firing heavy weapons.
“At 10 o’clock in the morning, 3 large weapons were fired from the side of the camp into the village of Letpanchaung. At around 12 o’clock, they started setting fire to the village of Thayargone ,” said a local. It is also reported that the Military Council started burning houses in Thayakone village from yesterday night, and the Zion Baptist Church in Thayargone village was also damaged due to drone bombing.
