The military leader, General Min Aung Hlaing, removed the Chief of Defense (Navy) General Moe Aung and replaced him with the former Chief of Staff (Navy) Lieutenant General Zwai Win Myint. An internal source close to the generals said that General Moe Aung, who was removed as the Chief of the Army (Navy), has been moved as an advisor to the National Security Council.
“This is the sense of sending backup forces to the watershed. They have been fighting since the previous month. Additional military commanders are also being sent to replace them. There are also implications regarding surrendering,” a military source told Tongsan Media. Before this transfer and appointment, General Moe Aung was no longer used in the military leaders’ meetings during important trips, and only Lieutenant General Zwai Win Myint was given the place.
Similarly, the military leader, General Min Aung Hlaing, sent the regional commander of the Eastern Military Command to the reserve force, and the state. It has been investigated that the director of security-related printing works (Banknote Wazi) has been replaced by the principal of the Defense University.
