Today (June 26) at around 5 o’clock in the morning, Myaung Township, when the military council troops entered Primma village from the gravel camp, they found MSPDF leader Thek Khaing and arrested him, said Ko Nwe Oo Myaung, head of the Myaung Township Public Defense and Security Organization (CDSOM).
After that, when the soldiers, including his son, tried to fight back and rescue the military council, the son and two soldiers were hit by heavy weapons, and the father, who was arrested, was killed, according to the local soldiers.
“Ko Thet Khaing was arrested in front of his house after patrolling the village. The son and two comrades died after being hit by bullets. When it was in place, three large weapons were thrown into it. My father was captured and killed in the forest,” said Ko Nwe Oo Myaung.
The MSPDF group is based in Myaung Township and has been an armed resistance group against the Military Council since the beginning of the revolution. The army of the military council from the gravel camp often patrols and destroys villages in the Myung area, and there are often clashes with the local resistance forces.
