It is reported that U Win Myint Aung, member of the People’s Hluttaw of Di Paying Township, who was organizing the PDFs to surrender to the Military Council together with the Military Council, was arrested by the PDF (People’s Defense Forces) and handed over to the Ministry of the Interior of the National Unity Government.

U Win Myint Aung was arrested by PDF comrades in Dipaying-Shwebo road section. He surrendered to the military council and took refuge at the North West Regional Military Headquarters in Monywa for eight and a half months, said a People’s Defense soldier.
